Batman: Heart of Hush (2009) by Paul Dini & Dustin Nguyen

I wasn’t a huge fan of Hush. I found Hearts of Hush to lack even the charm of Hush. It certainly carried on the trend of convoluted but meaningless plots and inconsistent characterisations though. Some really interesting ideas at play (really liked the idea to Hush’s storyline here), but they’re all developed so poorly. The story just feels so unnecessary. It doesn’t say anything Hush didn’t already say, better. It’s melodramatic, overwrought, and ultimately quite silly.

I give it one set of bandages, and a fake-out death.
